Unlock Your Potential in 30 Seconds

Dare to Begin and Redefine Success

Meet Robyn
Speaker. Coach. Six Star Finisher.
Robyn Godfrey is a passionate runner, RRCA Certified Level 1 coach, speaker who began her running journey at age 47. What started as a personal effort to reclaim her health and redefine her relationship with alcohol quickly turned into a global quest—culminating in the completion of seven marathons, including the prestigious World Marathon Majors: London, Chicago, Berlin, Boston, New York, and Tokyo.

A dedicated member of the Wilmington Road Runners Club since 2013, Robyn has coached and paced countless runners, helping others unlock their potential and push beyond perceived limits. She also volunteers with Girls on the Run, mentoring young girls as they develop confidence, resilience, and joy through movement.

As a speaker, Robyn shares her inspiring transformation—from clumsy teenager and midlife party girl to disciplined marathoner and global adventurer. Her story is proof that it’s never too late to chase your dreams. She believes big change starts small—and in her case, it began with just 30 seconds on a treadmill. What could your 30 seconds become?

What does it take to run the world—literally and figuratively? For Robyn Godfrey, it meant lacing up at age 47 and transforming from a midlife party girl into a six-star marathon finisher. Running the World is more than a running memoir—it’s a story of reinvention, resilience, and discovering your purpose one mile at a time.

From the streets of Tokyo to the crowds of New York City, Robyn shares the highs and lows of chasing all six World Marathon Majors while navigating real-life challenges: her husband’s cancer, injuries, burnout, and self-doubt. With humor and honesty, she reminds us that the real victory isn’t the medal—it’s showing up, embracing the hard stuff, and choosing joy.
